Back to the gym tonight, another session with the trainer. I expect to be in massive amounts of pain tomorrow.
I’m starting to think that there’s a very fine line between a personal trainer and a dominatrix: both have a vested interest in putting their client in pain with the belief that the client will enjoy it. Of course, I’m not really the type to go to a dominatrix, mind you; pain is most decidedly not my friend.
So, why the hell am I doing this?
A friend at work keeps telling me that it will get better. The really annoying part is when I see people leaving after their workouts, they seem calm, relaxed, and not at all in pain.
It’s just so not fair…
