Learning how to scuba dive isn’t the absolute highest thing on my life-list, but it’s certainly there. But after seeing this advertisement headline in the latest print version of The Onion:
Confuse a fish!
Learn to Dive!
Well, the idea of dozens of fish, swimming around with “What. The. Hell.” looks on their faces is awfully appealing. I think that alone bumps it up the life-list a couple of notches…
*snicker*
I’ve only done snorkeling and it’s all well and good until a big sea creature comes along and scares you. That big, startled gasp has an odd way of filling the lungs.

I misread it at first and thought it said “Confuse a fish! Learn to Drive!” and I couldn’t figure out why a fish would care if I could drive or not…
But yes, learning to dive may confuse them a bit.

I’ve always wanted to learn to scuba dive. Just never got around to taking lessons. I recommend that you go for it and scare the fishes.

Okay, Lea and I saw the same thing. I couldn’t get why a fish would care if you were driving either. Ugh it’s a Monday!

just a girl – ooh, snorkeling would be fun too. Like in Hawaii!
Ruby – Heh, sorry about the lunchtime giggles. 😉
lea – Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
Homer – Definitely higher on the list now!
brandy – Mondays tend to be that way, don’t they?

Damnit.
I haven’t been to the Onion in so long. Turns out, it’s firewalled at work now. 😦
