Ever have one of those weekends where you run around like crazy and get absolutely nothing done?
Okay, this weekend wasn’t quite that bad, as I did get a few things done, but I’m still way way way behind. A trip is upcoming soon, and I’m not nearly ready for it. Heck, I haven’t even started packing.
Plus, there’s studying to do, all of your lovely blogs to read, and a couple of hiking posts to write.
Gah.
On a more positive note, I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my Flickr account to pro. One of the reasons was that I realized (far, far too late) that all of the panoramic shots I was putting together so painstakingly in Photoshop were getting downsized. Bah.
Well, problem fixed, hope you enjoy the photos.
As you may have heard, we have been getting just a little bit of rain around here of late. There was a bit of a break on Saturday while I was out running errands, and I happened to be afforded this view from down in the South Bay:
Go check it out full-resolution. Downtown Los Angeles is on the left side, the San Gabriels, dominated by Mt. Baldy, on the right.
It’s not as good as Homer-Dog & Just A Girl’s wintry pictures, but it’s awfully impressive.
And yet again I’m reminded that, at times, this crazy town can be awful darn pretty.

Beautiful shot! Hope tyhe weather cooperates with all of your hiking plans! We got out and had a fire this weekend. My pack still smells of it. I’m in no hurry to be rid of it!
