I don’t have anything particularly profound to say today (unlike Aaron’s interesting post and, no, no one proposed, but thanks for asking), but since I won’t get this chance for another four years, I couldn’t resist posting on Leap Day.
Personally, I think the day should be some sort of international holiday. Asking everyone on the planet to take a day off every four years doesn’t seem like too much to ask.
Of course, the owner of my company thinks of it a different way: one more day to make a bit more profit.
Woo and hoo. I’d prefer the day off. I’d probably go for a hike.
Then again, I’m guessing he doesn’t worry about his bills the way I do…

I’m just glad it wasn’t my birthday, can’t imagine only getting to officially recognize the day of my birth once every 4 years…too weird.

funny, i wouldn’t have noticed if you didn’t mention leap year, but this post shows up in my google reader as being posted on Mar 1 … could google reader not recognize 2/29??? how can that be??? it’s google!
