What The…?

I work out at the gym.  I’ve been building muscle.  And while I still have that small 10 lb gut I’d like to lose, I think I’ve lost a pound or two of late.

Then I look in the mirror over the last couple of weeks, and it looks like I’m gaining weight under my chin.

What the hell?

Is it migrating?

  1. Instead of chin-ups maybe you should try chin-downs.

  2. *snickers* Uhm.

    I got nothin’.

  3. No silly, you’re just losing weight from everywhere (except your gut; it’s always the last to go) and your skin is sagging as a result. Good thing you live in LA. Don’t they have quick fixes for that sorta thing there 😉 Maybe I’ll join you and we can get some sucking and tucking done. Wait… that just didn’t sound right!

  4. i wish my belly fat would migrate to my boobs *sigh*

  5. It’s spring, everything is migrating north 😉

  6. Hahaha. I seriously think our bodies just wack out more every year. The older the get, the more I catch myself wondering, “Whose body IS that?” when I look in the mirror.

Maybe you should just start clenching your jaw more often.

  7. Thats what happens with our hair, right?

  8. This totally made me snort my tea out!

    *snortle*

  9. Haahahaaahhaaa xoDDD

  10. Yeah my jiggly parts are playing hide-n-seek with me, too. When I start on the arms it hides in my ass. When I work on my ass it runs to my belly.

    Grrr..

  11. *Giggling*

  12. Dingo – I’ll work on that

Wendy – Ironically, neither do I!

Mrs. Chuck Bartowski – No doesn’t sound right. People might start talking. 😉

    Blakspring – *snicker*

Homer-Dog – I suddenly dread the return of winter!

Mel Heth – Do you think they have a jaw class at the gym?

Aaron – Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone about that!

Just A Girl – Sorry, better wipe off the keyboard

    Narami – *grin*

TheCoconutDiaries – I’d rather not think of it as having enough emotions to “run away”…

DezertLamb – Yeah, laugh it up now, just you wait…

  13. I have this too. Must be from the heaving-weights-oh-my-god-i’m-going-to-die face contortions?

  14. My chin is less than optimal too. In the past year, though, I have learned just how to hold my head for pictures so it doesn’t show up. 🙂

  15. Yeah, we all have our tricks. From some angles I’m the witchiest hag you ever saw, from others not too bad. 😉
