…feels quite like an earthquake.
That one got the pictures moving.
Wasn’t too bad, though. After all, I’ve still got internet!

Glad you’re okay! The only earthquake I have ever felt was on that ride at Universal Studios. That was back in the late 80s. Do they still have that ride?

That’s probably the only reason not to move to California. I’m glad you’re ok 🙂 Sometimes one needs a bit of a shake.

Glad to hear that you were shaken but not stirred 😉
I’ve been through two big ones – 1976 Guatemalan Quake (7.5) and the 1994 Northridge Quake (6.7). Both occurred at night for some reason.
The first quake I ever felt was a teeny tiny one while visiting friends in … St. Louis Missouri. Made the dishes rattle.

OMG I actually was JUST going to email you. I’m glad it wasn’t so bad just scary. I will admit…I was worried.
The first quake I ever felt was in my hometown (yes here in the MD) and it sounded like a roll of thunder. My Cali friends laugh at me to this day.

This wasn’t your first one, right? I didn’t feel it so much as I HEARD it. I thought someone was knocking on my door and then noticed that every window was rattling too. The cats were not happy campers…

glad you’re ok. I remember Cali…getting annoyed when the earthquakes woke me up and interrupted my beauty sleep!

MrsChuckBartowski – I have no idea. I haven’t been to Universal Studios since I was a kid!
ECT – Despite my closeness to it, nothing even moved in my place… this time. 😉
Blakspring – Me shaking? Okay. My house shaking? Not so much.
Homer-Dog – Well, they do say that New Madrid fault is overdue…
Melinda – Not to worry, all good. Well, if you’ve never felt one, the first one is definitely a shock…
Mel Heth – Nah, not the first one. I didn’t hear it as much as I heard the house moving.
Hebba – I hate the night ones because I’m not wearing my glasses!
Dobegil – Got the e-mail, thanks!
K – Thanks, all good!
LittleMissObsessive – The small ones aren’t too bad. I’ll let you know after the big one…
