It’s depressing. Saw all the smoke roll into my area this afternoon and had to shut all my windows. Some of my colleagues live close to the fires; fortunately, none have lost their homes though one of our sales guys was up until 1 am last night hosing down his roof because the fire was so close that embers were landing on it. You are right about how strange it is that life just goes on as usual in the city while the areas around us burn. Bizarre…
