Figures…

The air conditioning in the office is fixed, so it’s no longer a sauna.

The electricity in my office is working, so I’m no longer stuck in the server room.

The wacky cold front that rolled over Southern California last weekend, bringing rain and hail and tornadoes out in the deserts, has now gone through.

June Gloom hasn’t arrived yet.

My knee is feeling plenty healthy.

My first major hike of the season is planned for next Saturday.

Outside today is absolutely gorgeous: blue skies, warm temperatures, light breeze.

So doesn’t it just figure that I’m laying here on the couch, coming down with a cold, RIGHT NOW?

My temperature is already three degrees above normal and climbing.

Crap.

Anybody want to stop by with some chicken soup?

Awww, I hope you feel better soon!! I know that virtual blog well wishes aren’t the same as real chicken soup, but take care of yourself and rest up!

Ah, so it was you! Sunday night after the movie I started getting a soar throat. It lasted about 24 hours and then went away. Now I know who gave it to me.

    Once again, get well soon.

Now you see what too much air conditioning can do to you:). Seriously, a speedy recovery to you.

Rest and take lots of fluids.
