Yay! Let me know when the new neighbours move in so that I can come visit and we can pretend to get our freak on. (I guess you don’t actually need me to come visit if you’re faking it but it’ll be more fun 😉 Oh wait, am I thinking about my neighbours? Hmm, they had sex the other morning but it was very short. I was grateful. That’s probably very bad karma.
I hope whomever is their replacement are nice and quiet … although when hubby and lived in an apartment and the neighbors got loud, we’d moan at the common wall until they quieted down … sorry did I say that out loud? I thought it was in my head.
I remember a hundred lovely lakes,
and recall the fragrant breath of pine and fir
and cedar and poplar trees.
The trail has strung upon it, as upon a thread of silk,
opalescent dawns and saffron sunsets.
It has given me blessed release from care and worry
and the troubled thinking of our modern day.
It has been a return to the primitive and the peaceful.
Whenever the pressure of our complex city life
thins my blood and benumbs my brain,
I seek relief in the trail;
and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn,
my cares fall from me
- I am happy. -- Hamlin Garland

This could be a major turning point. Now’s the time to ask the universe for a hot hiker chick to move in!

Mel Heath took the words right out of my mouth. Or the words off my keyboard… or however that works when you type it instead of say it.
