As I’ve mentioned before, I’m usually very good at avoiding the various food temptations that come around the office.
This morning however (with the idea no doubt planted in my head by Charlotte’s post, thank-you-very-much Charlotte), one of the other department’s supervisors walked in with a box of donuts.
One look at the solitary cake donut, with thick, luscious chocolate frosting and covered in sprinkles made of not-natural bright colors and my resistance melted away. I grabbed it and headed for my office before I’d even taken off my sunglasses.
Sorry, there just wasn’t time to take a picture of the calorie laden goodie.
Chock-full-of-empty-calories goodness it was.
A good (yet very bad) start to the weekend. Happy Labor Day.
