In Shock

(Last of the vacation posts are up, check out the Travels page!)

As much fun as I would be to tell you all that the day was a horrible nightmare (for which I know you all would be sympathetic), I can’t.

The day was, actually, pretty good.

The day was busy, sure. That’s to be expected after an upgrade.

Lot’s of questions, a few problems throughout the day, but for the most part, things went very smoothly. For the most part, users were more interested in the new features in the software than they were in complaining about the flaws.

I have to give credit, of course, to the software manufacturer, who seems to have turned out a halfway decent upgrade for a change.

So I guess all of my fears, despite being based on a solid foundation of past history, were completely unfounded.

Not that I’m complaining about that.

So I was able to leave work on time. Go to the gym.

Even come home and finish the last of the short, journal-like, long, excessively-detailed, saga-like, epic trip posts: days ten, eleven and twelve. Hope you enjoyed ’em.

All-in-all, a pretty good day. 🙂
