  1. Hi,
I’m enjoying your site. I came across it tag surfing. Come hike in Canada someday…geeks are welcome! Check out one of my hikes here…

I try to get in one major backpacking trip a year with family/friends and this year we aim to do The West Coast Trail. I’m so looking forward to it. Ocean and rainforests, can’t wait!

  2. Wow, I’ve been looking for a resource like this for over a year (after I moved here from St Louis, Missouri). I too am a geek that loves a good hike. You’d be surprised how many of us are out there.

I’ve been beach walking it for a while. Crystal Cove is absolutely gorgeous when their isn’t a massive horde of tourists.

Anyways, I’m new to the area. 24. and trying to make new some friends in what little time I get away from work (IT side of a Finance System… yuck :P).

  3. ~~Seeking hike buddies on the weekend’s afternoon in Westside~~

I live in Pacific Palisades and love to go hike with some body on the weekend. If you are up for afternoon (between 11am to 5pm?) please email me.

    • Some of them may not know where the Pacific Palisades is its north of Santa Monica (before Malibu). If you want to see nice oeach view when you are hiking you should come to my area. Please email me at japanwoman@gmail.com Look forward to hearing from you.
